Marriage
Bible study on marriage.

Gen. 2:21-24

God took one of Adam's ribs and made it into a woman.

Therefore a man should leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife becoming one flesh (cf. Gen. 2:24; Matt. 19:5-6; Mk. 10:7-9).

Prov. 18:22

He who finds a wife finds a good thing.

Heb. 13:4

Marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled. God will judge fornicators and adulterers.

Matt. 19:5-6; Mk. 10:7- 9

God joins two people together in marriage; therefore, only God can separate the two.

1 Cor. 7:1-6, 9

Each man should have his own wife and each woman should have her own husband because of sexual immorality. They are not to deprive each other of due affection. It is better to marry than to burn in hell.

1 Tim. 4:1-3

We are not to forbid lawful marriages.

Rom. 7:2-3; 1 Cor. 7:39

Marriage is until death.
