God: Access to God
Bible study on God: access to God.

Jn. 10:7; 14:6

We can only access God through Jesus Christ.

To go to the Father through Jesus Christ, we must love Jesus and keep His commandments (Jn. 14:15-24).

Matt. 6:6; Jn. 16:26

We access God through prayer in the name of Jesus Christ (cf. Col. 3:17).

Rom. 5:1-2

We are justified by faith through Jesus Christ; we access God's grace through faith.

Therefore we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God (Rom. 5:2). Therefore we glory in tribulation knowing that tribulation produces perseverance, character, and hope (Rom. 5:3-5; cf. Jas. 1:2-4).

Grace and salvation are in Christ (2 Tim. 1:9; 2:1, 10). We enter into Christ through baptism (Rom. 6:3; Gal. 3:27).

Jas. 4:8-10

We must have clean hands and a pure heart to humbly draw near to God. Then, He will draw near to us.

Also, see SANCTIFICATION.

Eph. 2:13

Those who are in Christ have been made near to God by the blood of Christ.

Eph. 3:12; Col. 1:21-22

We have boldness to access God through faith in Christ.

Heb. 4:14-16

We boldly access the throne of grace through Jesus Christ our High Priest.

Heb. 10:19, 22

We have boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Christ.

1 Pet. 3:18

Christ suffered once for sins that He might bring us to God.

The antitype which now saves us is baptism (1 Pet. 3:21).
